Study of dance and musical theatre
In these weeks, Aarhus University is reaching out to dance and musical theatre artists in connection with a major new study.
The study will show the conditions, challenges and development opportunities for dance and musical theatre in Denmark, and the researchers would like to gain knowledge from most possible artists in the field.
If you work in dance or musical theatre, you can participate by signing up via the link below. The university will then send you a link to the survey itself.
Questionnaires and industry interviews
In addition to the survey data collected, the study is also based on interviews with dance and musical theatre professionals. The analyses and results of the survey will be summarised in a report to be published in 2025. Data from the survey will be published in anonymised form and only in an aggregated form.
The Augustinus Foundation has initiated the comprehensive analysis of the conditions for dance and musical theatre in Denmark. The foundation wants to support the development of Danish performing arts and contribute to creating a knowledge base for the status, challenges and development opportunities of the two areas.
