Two days with LogicX:
From song to single

The course is for those with little or no experience. Over the course of two sessions, we go all the way from recording to mixing to the final master. 

With Logic X software at its core, you'll learn about live recording, using the programme's instruments and effects, sends and much more.

In collaboration with the other participants, you will create arrangements, mixes and finally the finished master. Along the way, you'll also learn how to build a great mix. All with the expert help and guidance of producer and composer Thor Finland.

Participant prerequisite

The latest version of Logic X is taught. You should have installed the programme on your computer and have a rough overview of its fundamentals.
Course participants should bring their own computer, keyboard, mouse, headphones and various cables and chargers, and if possible a midi keyboard.
If your main instrument is either guitar, bass or percussion, you are welcome to bring this with you.

Time and cost

The price is DKK 450 for members of Dansk Artist Forbund and DKK 2000 for non-members.

The course runs over two days: 24 October from 16 - 21 and 28 October from 16 - 21

Om underviseren

Thor Finland is a composer, producer, remixer, programmer and mixer - and has worked for both upcoming and established Danish artists for the past 15 years.
Thor began his career as part of the hip hop scene in the award-winning and critically acclaimed band Pelding - with two albums released on DJ Vadim's former label Jazz Fudge. Thor Finland has composed and scored for films, documentaries and commercials. Today he mostly works with the electronic genre himself and his sound is characterised by deep, funky bass and the use of vintage instruments.
