Greening live music - what does it take?

There are many forces working on green transition in live music - both in Denmark and internationally. But how far has the industry come?

Meet some of the frontrunners and join the exchange of experiences when Greener Music and the Danish Artist Association bring together musicians and bands for an afternoon on the road to more green live music.

We focus on what venues and festivals are doing to make music greener - and how artists and musicians can influence the development.

The event is free to attend and we offer good company, snacks and drinks.

International music activists

The international environmental group Music Declares Emergency brings together artists, musicians and other music industry professionals to change the industry from within. MDE is present in several countries and has green recommendations for both fans and musicians.

Meet Malene Tofte, who works with stage production and backstage solutions and who is helping to bring MDE to Denmark.

What do Danish venues do?

Greener Music presents the results of a new study on the green transition of venues and festivals, conducted in collaboration with Dansk Live and the Music Industry Partnership for Sustainable Development.

Green checklist for bands and venues

There will also be an introduction to the Green Checklist, which is designed for bands and musicians who want to make a gig greener. The checklist can help you talk to your venue or venue about greener behaviour.
The list is compiled in collaboration with several industry players: Danish Artist Association, Danish Agents Association, Danish Live and Danish Musicians Association
