Statement on AI training (aitrainingstatement.org)

"We recommend that rights holders do everything they can to protect their material and content"
Sara Indrio - Chairperson of the Danish Artist Association

Sign the petition and say no to illegal exploitation

Chairperson of the Danish Artist Association, Sara Indrio, encourages members to participate:

"We recommend that rights holders do everything they can to protect their material and content. When music, films, images, books and other creative works are used as training material for AI without authorisation and payment, it is a threat to artists' income and rights. It will be a strong signal if many artists stand up against this illegal exploitation," she says.

European action for clear rules

At the European level, the European Commission is working to ensure the correct application of the AI Act's rules for AI models. This will take the form of a Code of Practice, which will, among other things, set the framework for transparency and copyright-related rules in the use of AI.
From Denmark, the interest organisation RettighedsAlliancen participates in the work. Most Danish music organisations with roots in rights management are part of the Rights Alliance.

Protect your own content
