Workshop on finances for musicians and artistic entrepreneurs

Does your income from music or performance end up in a payroll account? Or do you monetise arts and culture in your own business?

As a musician and artist, you have several options and this workshop will give you an overview of which framework best suits your work and earnings.

Workshop on Thursday 28 November from 15-18.

At the workshop, you will meet Bent Malinowski, accountant at the Danish Artist Association, and learn how you as a musician, artist or performer should relate to income, tax, VAT and deductions.

The event is organised by SOUND and the Danish Artist Association and is aimed at all musicians and artistic entrepreneurs, whether you are an employee, fee earner or self-employed.

The event starts with a presentation that will cover topics such as

  • Income as an employee, fee earner and self-employed
  • Terms for own company or partnerships
  • Company or association requirements
  • Unemployment insurance cover as self-employed

Then there is time for questions.
